One thing I missed in Android Studio that I've never been able to use in VSCode and all its forks. Would be really nice to be able to do this, especially for Cascade.

I understand that this depends on the Base System as such, because in Intellij IDEA you can decouple and use the chat on another monitor.

Same here. Would love to see Cascade as a separate window so I can move it to my second monitor. It really eats into my coding space right now. +1 for anything that makes it more flexible to arrange.

Detaching Cascade into a separate window would be better than sliced bread. A pop out window for Cascade would be better than other things I can think of.

Having the object explorer, the file, and cascade open at the same time leaves me feeling cramped on one monitor.

I'm tired of collapsing everything, and I'd like to make use of my secordary monitor that often goes unused while working in windsurf (bc it's really easy to stay in one place now!)

can't believe this still hasn't been in the roadmap. We're all struggling to keep file editor or whatever else is required on the left, terminal at the bottom, code in the middle (squeezed) and chat (also squeezed) on the right... please guys, make this a priority. If I could have it all, all windows would be 'detachable' and we could place them in our other monitors.

in a programming world, usability of multiple screens is a plus, I highly encourage the team to give this feature a high priority. Thanks in advance!
