In windsurf file explorer files in the directory are shown in ascending order, how to make it descending order?

Windsurf’s file explorer currently displays files in ascending (A–Z, 0–9) order by default. As of now, there is no built-in user-facing setting or button within Windsurf to change the file sort order to descending (Z–A, newest–oldest) directly from the UI.
Feature Limitation: There is no such option, Windsurf’s current version does not support changing the file sort order in the explorer.
Workarounds:
Manual Browsing: You can manually scroll to the bottom of the list for the most recent or last files.
Feedback: If sorting by descending order is important for your workflow, consider submitting this as a feature request to the Windsurf or Cascade support/development team.

I, too, tried to find a way to sort BOTH files and folders in alphabetical order, but came up short. The reason this would be useful - when creating a Wordpress plugin, for example, it's useful to be able to make notes (files) for it outside of the plugin folder, and see the right next to the folder in the Explorer.
